Mead Johnson Merges with Reckitt Benckiser for $17.9 Billion

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC., as financial advisors to Mead Johnson Nutrition Company in its sale to Reckitt Benckiser Group plc for $90 in cash per share.

The merger, announced February 10, 2017, has an enterprise value of $17.9 billion and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017 subject to the approval of Mead Johnson and Reckitt Benckiser shareholders, regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
