Mexico in €800 Million Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a registered offering of €800 million principal amount of its 2.375% global bonds due 2030.

The offering launched and priced on February 7, 2022, and closed on February 11, 2022.

Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Credit Suisse International, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc acted as underwriters for the offering.

Mexico will use the net proceeds of the bond offering toward the payment of part or all of the redemption price for its outstanding euro-denominated 1.625% global notes due 2024 and otherwise for its general financing purposes.

Cleary has previously represented Mexico, as issuer, in numerous securities transactions for more than 30 years.
