OCI and CF Industries to Create Global Nitrogen Leader

Cleary Gottlieb acted as legal advisor to OCI in its definitive agreement with CF Industries Holdings to combine OCI’s North American, European and Global Distribution businesses with CF Industries’ global assets in a transaction valued at approximately $8 billion. The transaction will result in the creation of the world’s largest publicly traded nitrogen company and will provide OCI with the financial flexibility to unlock further value from its retained fertilizer and chemical businesses.
