The transaction priced on April 17, 2018, and closed on April 24, 2018. The securities are listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Cleary also represented the Republic in establishing its U.S. SEC-registered shelf and the filing of its first annual report on Form 18-K.
The Republic is one of the most frequent sovereign debt issuers in Asia. This transaction is the Republic’s inaugural USD and EUR-denominated bond offerings issued off its newly established U.S. SEC-registered shelf. This important transaction enabled the Republic to further diversify and enlarge its investor base.
