As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop, the telecoms industry will face a number of novel business and legal scenarios ranging from privacy and data protection issues related to COVID-19 apps, antitrust problems when offering free minutes or extended capacity to customer, heightened FDI scrutiny to increased opportunities for M&A and network sharing agreements.
