Cleary Gottlieb counsel Cesare Rizza and associate Alfonso Cardarelli co-authored the article, “The Decarbonization of Aviation Starts in Europe: New Rules on Sustainable Fuels,” which was published by Il Sole 24Ore – Norme & Tributi.
The article discusses how, in addition to achieving climate objectives, the new framework aims to ensure a level playing field in EU aviation in the use of jet fuel, which represents a considerable share of carriers’ costs.
