Chris Gollop’s practice focuses on a broad range of transactional mandates for sophisticated international private equity and corporate clients.

His experience includes advising on acquisitions and disposals and complex equity financings and joint ventures in a range of sectors from healthcare to financial services/asset management, as well as advising on investee company matters during the PE investment life cycle (including bolt-on transactions and management incentivization plans).

Chris joined the firm as a trainee in September 2013 and became a partner in 2025.

  • Hayfin in an agreement with Arctos to support a management buyout of the business, acquiring British Columbia Investment Management Corporation’s majority stake.

  • Sixth Street in its $5.1 billion acquisition of Enstar.

  • VeloBank and Cerberus in proposed acquisition of Citi Handlowy’s consumer banking business.

  • Exponent on its majority investment in Northern Ireland’s largest private healthcare firm, the Kingsbridge group.
