Denelle Veny is Cleary Gottlieb’s Chief of Staff.
In this role, Denelle works closely with the Managing Partner and Global Executive Committee to implement strategic decisions for the firm. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Office of the Managing Partner and devotes substantial time and energy to the overall operation and coordination of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. She is closely involved with the creation and implementation of firm-wide priorities, oversees all aspects of the Cleary partner life-cycle, and serves as a resource for partners seeking guidance on a variety of matters. She is a member of the Global Operations Committee and is based in the New York office.
Denelle most recently served as Executive Support Manager at Cleary. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as Director of Operations at PILnet: The Global Network for Public Interest Law.
Denelle received an M.S. in International Law and Human Rights from New York University and a B.A. in International Relations from Xavier University.
