Elizabeth Wilkinson is Cleary Gottlieb’s Chief Innovation Officer.

In this role, she leads the firm’s innovation initiatives and drives the responsible integration of legal technology across all areas of practice. She also shapes the strategic vision for practice innovation and client-facing solutions, encompassing the technologies and workflows that enhance lawyer productivity and elevate the client experience.

Elizabeth joined Cleary in 2026 from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where she was Director of Knowledge & Innovation, leading innovation initiatives, AI adoption and development, and knowledge solutions. Before that, she was Practice Innovation & Knowledge Counsel at Paul Hastings LLP.

She spent the first 10 years of her career as a litigator in New York, where she handled complex commercial litigation at Jones Day and Mintz Levin.

Elizabeth received a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Brown University.

Elizabeth serves on the boards of the Lawrenceville School, Concord Hill School, and the Brown University Sports Foundation.
