  • Application Process: Applications for the 2025 Summer Associate Program will open on June 1 and will be posted here. To apply, please submit your application materials, including your resume, law transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable and second semester grades should be provided as a supplement if not available when application is submitted), undergraduate transcript, cover letter, and optional personal statement.

    Starting on June 1, all materials referenced above including any updates can be submitted throughout the process to the recruiting teams in the Bay Area (BayArea-Recruiting@cgsh.com), New York (NY-RecruitingMaterials@cgsh.com), or Washington (DCRecruit@cgsh.com).   • Assignments: Our work assignment system allows you to work with senior lawyers at the firm for a unique, immersive experience tailored to your individual interests.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate with established Cleary attorneys and make meaningful contributions to firm matters in a variety of practice areas and disciplines.
  • International Opportunities: We offer summer associates the opportunity to spend four weeks working in one of our foreign offices, where you will experience the worldwide Cleary Culture and global reach of our firm firsthand.
