Cleary Gottlieb Director of Pro Bono Practice, Jennifer Kroman, participated in the ABA Spring Conference & Land Use Institute 2019.
Jennifer spoke on a panel as part of the Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice titled “Survivor Re-Entry Project: Human Trafficking & Criminal Records Relief,” discussing how trafficking survivors can use state vacatur laws to expunge their trafficking-related convictions and how the ABA’s Survivor Reentry Project has helped build sustainable vacatur practices across the country.
Under Jennifer’s leadership, Cleary has represented 42 clients in vacating more than 630 criminal convictions in New York State.
