Webinar

Cleary Gottlieb counsel Shirley Lo, associates Martha Vega-Gonzalez and Nimat Lawal, and law clerk Katherine Van Bramer partnered with the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) to develop and present a training webinar for attorneys interested in assisting low-income small business owners impacted by COVID-19.

The training is part of a broader effort to address the key legal areas about which small business owners have questions given the crisis.

The training session provided guidance on addressing contractual issues such as breach or force majeure in connection with COVID-19 and served as a resource for attorneys across the country who are providing pro bono legal assistance to the small business community impacted by the novel coronavirus outbreak.
