Cleary Gottlieb partners François-Charles Laprévote and Chase Kaniecki hosted the lunch workshop, “The EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation – How to Get Ready (U.S. Edition).”
The workshop was a follow-up to a previous one held in July 2023 with senior attorney Wanjie Lin.
François-Charles and Chase were joined by economist Nicole Robins, head of the State Aid practice at Oxera, and they discussed practical steps to comply with the Foreign Subsidies Regulation – the form requirements, how to start collecting information on financial contributions, and how to assess risks in specific cases.
