PLI’s Shareholder Activism 2026: The Old, the New, and the Unexpected

Cleary Gottlieb partner J.T. Ho and Head of Shareholder Engagement and Activism Defense Sebastian Alsheimer will participate in PLI’s Shareholder Activism 2026: The Old, the New, and the Unexpected.

J.T. will serve as co-chair, provide opening remarks, and speak on the panel, “Perspectives from Shareholder Activists,” discussing how activists assess targets, define objectives, and view effective company responses, as well as the panel, “Navigating the Boardroom During an Activism Campaign,” discussing how attorneys can assist boards in navigating activist campaigns by strengthening governance, managing internal dynamics, and using advisers effectively.

Sebastian will speak on the panel, “Engagement, Proxy Contests and Settlements,” discussing proxy season trends and their implications for activism in 2027.
