Cleary Gottlieb partner Pietro Fioruzzi spoke at the conference, “The Transformation of the Family Office,” organized by the Politecnico di Milano School of Management and the Center for Family Business Management of the Free University of Bolzano.
Family offices represent the heart of family capitalism, in Italy and worldwide. Traditionally devoted to the management and protection of family assets, the activities of family offices today appear to be undergoing a major transformation, as are the needs of entrepreneurial families. The research, “The Transformation of the Family Office in Italy” aims to document and interpret these changes, through the first systematic survey of family offices in Italy.
