Cleary Gottlieb acted as counsel to BNP Paribas in connection with the sale, through an accelerated bookbuilding process, of 22,000,000 shares representing 7% of Klépierre’s share capital, for total gross proceeds of approximately €870,000,000. The transaction, which was launched on May 6, 2015, closed on May 11, 2015. The Klépierre shares were offered to institutional investors.
