Cleary Gottlieb is representing Akamai Technologies in connection with its entrance into a cooperation agreement with activist investor Elliott Management and other governance and shareholder value initiatives.
On March 8, 2018, Akamai announced that Elliott had entered into a cooperation agreement with Akamai pursuant to which Elliott agreed to standstill provisions, as well as the appointment of two independent directors to the board of Akamai, plans to form a Financial Operating Committee, and other shareholder value initiatives.
