América Móvil in €200 Million Term Loan Facility

Cleary Gottlieb represented América Móvil S.A.B. de C.V. (América Móvil) in the negotiation of a €200 million senior unsecured term loan facility.

The facility was entered into with the primary purpose of financing a portion of the payment of the cash consideration payable by América Móvil in connection with the tender offer to purchase all of América Móvil €550 million 6.375% Series B hybrid notes due 2073.

The joint lead arranger and bookrunner was Barclays Bank PLC.

The facility signed and closed on September 23, 2022.
