American Realty Capital Properties in Acquisition of American Realty Capital Trust IV

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as financial advisor to real estate investment trust American Realty Capital Trust IV, Inc., in connection with ARCT IV’s agreement to be acquired by affiliated real estate investment trust American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. for approximately $3.1 billion in stock and cash, announced July 2. The transaction is subject to ARCT IV and ARCP shareholder approvals and is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
