Cleary Gottlieb represented Automotores Gildemeister in its sale of $400 million 8.250% Senior Notes due 2021. The initial offering of $300 million closed on May 24. A reopening of the notes for $100 million closed on January 17. J.P. Morgan was the initial purchaser for the initial issuance and reopening. The notes, issued in reliance on Rule 144A/Regulation S, have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The proceeds from the sale of the notes will be used to repay short-term and long-term indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
