Cleary Gottlieb is counsel to Autonomy Capital in its acquisition from Empresas ICA and its Panamanian subsidiary, Ingenieros Civiles Asociados Panama, of second- and third-priority mortgages on real estate in Panama and litigation rights in respect of foreclosure proceedings previously initiated on that property. The implementation of the transaction remains subject to the approval of the Panamanian court overseeing the foreclosure proceedings, as well as certain closing date actions.
