Barilla in Sponsorship of Tenor Andrea Bocelli's Free Concert in Central Park

Cleary Gottlieb assisted Italian food company Barilla, the main sponsor of the event, in its sponsorship and other agreements in connection with the concert by tenor Andrea Bocelli on New York Central Park’s Great Lawn on September 15, 2011 and Casa Barilla.

Andrea Bocelli, regarded as most popular Italian singer in the world, teamed up with the New York Philharmonic, conducted by its music director Alan Gilbert. The concert was recorded by THIRTEEN for WNET for a national PBS broadcast on GREAT PERFORMANCES that will premiere in December 2011.
