Beta Steel Corp. in $350 Million Sale to Russia’s Novolipetsk Steel

Cleary Gottlieb represented Beta Steel Corp., a U.S. hot-rolled steel producer, and its shareholders in the sale of Beta Steel to Russia’s OJSC Novolipetsk Steel for $350 million in cash. The deal was announced on September 4 and closed October 30.
