Bio Pappel Acquires Midwest Paper Group Holdings

Cleary Gottlieb represented Bio Pappel in its acquisition of Midwest Paper Group Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Bio Pappel acquired the company through its U.S. subsidiary, McKinley Paper Company. The transaction signed and closed on February 3, 2022.

Bio Pappel is the largest manufacturer of paper and paper products in Mexico and Latin America. Midwest Paper Group Holdings is a U.S.-based manufacturer and distributor of high quality recycled containerboard and natural kraft packaging grades.
