Cleary Gottlieb is representing BNP Paribas in its pending acquisition of FundQuest Incorporated. FundQuest, a Boston-based “turnkey” asset management provider that services individual investors through financial institutions, will become BNP Paribas’ global brand for wealth management solutions that provide both proprietary and third-party investment recommendations. Definitive agreements were signed on June 10 and the transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of this year.
