Cleary Gottlieb partner Breon Peace was named Metropolitan Black Bar Association (MBBA) 2020 Private Practitioner of the Year.
He was also selected as one of the 2020 MBBA Gala honorees. As part of this year’s gala, MBBA will host fireside chats to celebrate its honorees. Breon’s fireside chat will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT.
Since 1984, the MBBA has advanced equality and excellence in the pursuit of justice, aided the progress of Black attorneys in the profession, addressed legal issues affecting our community, and fostered the personal and professional development of young lawyers and law students.
