Cleary Gottlieb represented Cablevisión in a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of its $500 Million 6.500 percent notes due 2021.
The transaction priced on June 8, 2016, and closed on June 15, 2016. Cablevisión used the proceeds of the offering to repay existing indebtedness, invest in fixed assets and fund other capital expenditures.
Cablevisión is Argentina’s largest cable television company, owned by Grupo Clarín, Argentina’s largest media group, and Fintech.
