Cleary Gottlieb has been named a finalist for LegalWeek’s 2020 CSR Innovation Award for the firm’s outstanding achievement in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Specifically, in February, Cleary worked with the City of London Lord Mayor’s Appeal on its “She Can Be...” initiative to help inspire young women to consider future careers in the City of London. The firm partnered with the City on the same initiative in 2019 as well.
The nomination comes as part of LegalWeek’s 2020 Legal Innovation Awards, now in its sixth year. The awards recognize innovation in the legal sector and the law firms, chambers, and in-house legal departments that have led precedent-setting, game-changing projects and initiatives.
