Cleary Gottlieb has been ranked No. 30 in The American Lawyer’s annual Pro Bono Scorecard.
The list ranks Am Law 200 firms with a pro bono score for work performed by U.S.-based lawyers. This score is calculated based on the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work in 2021.
In 2021, Cleary lawyers globally dedicated over 100,000 hours to pro bono legal and public service work, serving more than 700 pro bono clients, nearly 200 of which were new to the firm.
