Cleary Gottlieb Advises on GCR Awards 2022 Merger Control Matter of the Year

Cleary Gottlieb has advised on the Merger Control Matter of the Year in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa at the Global Competition Review (GCR) Awards 2022.

The firm was recognized for advising Veolia on its €12.9 billion takeover of Suez to create the French world champion of ecological transformation.

Partner Séverine Schrameck was also named GCR Lawyer of the Year – Under 40 and noted for her role in the Veolia/Suez takeover.
