Cleary Gottlieb Advises on Russian IPO Shortlisted for CEE Deal of the Year

Cleary Gottlieb has advised on Sovcomflot’s IPO, which has been named a finalist in the Russia category by the CEE Legal Matters Deal of the Year Awards.

Cleary acted as international counsel to Sovcomflot in its initial public offering on the Moscow Exchange. The offering, which was the first Russian privatization since 2013, was made to institutional and qualified investors in the Russian Federation and qualified investors in Europe, and was the first IPO with a MOEX listing in nearly three years to also be made to qualified institutional buyers in the U.S.
