Cleary Gottlieb Again Named Top Firm for Latin America

For the third consecutive year, LatinFinance has named Cleary Gottlieb as its “Law Firm of the Year: LatAm” at the publication’s annual ceremony in New York, held on January 15.

Three matters the firm worked on also were named as 2014 “Deals of the Year.” The winning transactions include:

• Coca-Cola FEMSA’s $2.15 billion senior notes offering: “Corporate High-Grade Bond of the Year”
• CEMEX’s $1.1 billion and €400 million concurrent global bond offerings and related liability management transactions: “Corporate High-Yield Bond of the Year”
• Enfoca’s $719 million sale of Maestro to Falabella: “Private Equity Deal of the Year”
