Cleary Gottlieb and Biyuan Zhang Named Finalists for ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2026

Cleary Gottlieb and partner Biyuan Zhang have been named finalists for the 2026 Asian Legal Business (ALB) Hong Kong Law Awards.

Cleary has been shortlisted for “M&A Deal of the Year” for advising on Genor Biopharma’s reverse takeover merger with Edding Group and Kangji Medical’s take-private by Founder, TPG, and QIA Consortium. The firm has also been shortlisted for “Equity Market Deal of the Year” for advising on Hesai Group’s dual primary listing and Pony AI’s dual primary listing.

Additionally, partner Biyuan Zhang has been shortlisted for “Young Lawyer of the Year.”

The esteemed ALB Hong Kong Law Awards are designed to honor outstanding achievements in the legal field, celebrating the exceptional performance of both private practitioners and in-house counsel in Hong Kong.

Winners will be announced on September 11, 2026.
