On Wednesday, June 26, 2019, in recognition of Pride month, Cleary Gottlieb hosted a fireside chat at its Washington, D.C. office with Charlotte Clymer, Press Secretary for Rapid Response at the Human Rights Campaign.
Washington, D.C. associate Grant Bermann led the discussion, with Cleary staff, alumni, clients, and friends of the firm also in attendance.
In addition to her role at the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ organization, Charlotte serves on the Military and Veterans Advisory Council for Outserve-SLDN, the Board of Directors for the Center for Military and Legal Policy, and the D.C. Commission for Persons with Disabilities. Her political commentary has been published and quoted by numerous outlets. She is a military veteran and proud transgender woman based in the D.C. metro area.
