Cleary Gottlieb hosted, “A Year of Commitment and Action,” a conversation with Chinyere Ezie and Amanda Nguyen.

Over the past year, the world has seen increased awareness of and action on racial and social equity. In this conversation, the panelists took a look back at moments that galvanized the global community into action, explored where we have made progress and where there is hope, and reflected on the important work still to come.

The discussion featured Chinyere Ezie, Senior Staff Attorney, Center for Constitutional Rights, and Cleary alumna, and Amanda Nguyen, social entrepreneur, civil rights activist, and the CEO and founder of Rise. Over 385 participants attended the virtual event. Managing Partner Michael Gerstenzang delivered welcome remarks, and partner Jonathan Kelly moderated the discussion.
