Cleary Gottlieb’s London office hosted a negotiation workshop with over 30 students as part of its longstanding partnership with City Solicitors Horizons.
City Solicitors Horizons is a social mobility initiative supporting undergraduates in the United Kingdom aspiring to a career in law. The project provides a unique opportunity for students to prepare for forthcoming law firm applications and vacation schemes.
Each year, Cleary volunteers provide mentorship to students under the scheme, offering a one-week work experience placement to provide first-hand experience of working at a top international law firm. The workshop, facilitated by associates, allows students to practice their negotiation skills in preparation for future firm assessment days.
Cleary is one of the founding members of City Solicitors Horizons, having participated in the project since 2015.
