Cleary Gottlieb Leads Bloomberg, LSEG, and Mergermarket 2025 M&A Rankings

Cleary Gottlieb ranked among the top 10 law firms for M&A in multiple regions in the 2025 league tables recently released by Bloomberg, LSEG, and Mergermarket.

The firm earned 36 top 10 rankings across the three publications, including ranking sixth for announced global M&A and sixth for announced and completed global principal adviser deals in LSEG.

The firm demonstrated significant strength in the U.S. and European markets, placing first in France for completed deals (LSEG), second in Italy for announced and completed deals (Bloomberg and LSEG), second in Belgium for announced deals (Bloomberg), fourth for U.S. Midwest announced deals (Mergermarket), sixth for Europe announced (Bloomberg) and sixth for U.S. announced deals (LSEG).
