Cleary Gottlieb Named “Best Firm to Work for” in 2009 Vault Survey; Recognized as a Top Firm in 22 Areas

Cleary Gottlieb ranked #1 in the category of “Best Firm to Work for” in the 2009 Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms. For the second year in a row, Cleary’s antitrust practice was voted the most prestigious in the United States. The firm also secured the top spot nationwide for its offices.

Additionally, following on the heels of being named the most diverse law firm by Minority Law Journal, Cleary ranked #1 in Vault’s “Overall Diversity” and “Diversity for Minorities” categories.

Among the 22 areas in which Cleary ranked in the top ten, other highlights include: #3 for International Law Practice—Partner Prestige; #4 in International Law Practice; #4 in Overall Satisfaction; #4 in Securities Practice—Partner Prestige; #4 in Diversity for Gays and Lesbians; #5 in Associate/Partner Relations; and #5 in Antitrust Practice—Partner Prestige.
