Cleary Gottlieb Named Italian Law Firm of the Year- Independent Authorities Regulatory

Cleary Gottlieb was named Italian Law Firm of the Year - Independent Authorities Regulatory at the eighth edition of the TopLegal Awards, held in Milan on November 27, 2014.

The nomination panel noted that Cleary successfully represented Telecom Italia in obtaining the opening of a phase 2 investigation by the EU Commission against the wholesale access services’ fees proposed by the Italian Communications Authority (AgCom) for 2013, closed with the issue of a recommendation asking AgCom not to adopt such fees.
