Cleary Gottlieb Named Italian Litigation and Competition/EU Law Firm of the Year by TopLegal

Cleary Gottlieb was named Italian Litigation Law Firm of the Year at the sixth annual TopLegal Awards, held in Milan on November 19, 2012. The jury recognized the important achievements of the firm, thanks to the “team spirit and international background of its 30-member litigation team, all of whom are home grown.”

In addition, Cleary Gottlieb was named Italian Competition/EU Law Firm of the Year for the third year in a row. The jury noted that the firm’s Italian antitrust team has a “remarkable and well-established capacity in this practice area.”

TopLegal is the only specialized trade journal covering the Italian legal market. The shortlist and the final award for each category were determined by TopLegal together with a panel composed of the general counsels of leading Italian companies as well as professionals from the worlds of finance, business and communications.
