Cleary Gottlieb Named “Litigation Firm of the Year”

Cleary Gottlieb and partner Mario Siragusa were honored by LegalCommunity magazine at the publication’s annual “Energy Awards” in Milan on January 19.

Cleary was named the “Litigation Firm of the Year.” LegalCommunity noted that “Cleary Gottlieb is one of the few international law firms with a significant  litigation market share in Italy.” In naming Mr. Siragusa as its “Italian Antitrust/Regulatory Lawyer of the Year,” the magazine cited his being “internationally recognized as a star individual in competition law, and regularly [assisting] some of the most important energy operators active in the renewables and oil & gas sectors.”

LegalCommunity is an online magazine covering the Italian legal market. The final awards for each category were determined by a panel of the general counsel of leading Italian and international energy companies.
