Cleary Gottlieb Named “Top Ten Family Friendly Firm” by Yale Law Women

Cleary Gottlieb was recognized on Yale Law Women’s “2009 Top Ten Family Friendly Firms List.” Based on its fourth annual survey of the Vault Top 100 Firms, the Yale Law School student group praised the firm for its leadership in developing and implementing family friendly policies. Of YLW’s top ten firms, Cleary Gottlieb ranked the highest in the Vault Top 100.

Categories in the YLW survey included women’s promotion and leadership, access to and use of parental leave, childcare facilities, part-time and flex-time policies, usage of part-time and flex-time policies, billable hours and compensation practices, and alternative career programs.

Cleary Gottlieb was also recently recognized in the top tier of The American Lawyer’s “Women in Law Firms 2009 Study,” an analysis of the gender diversity of more than 200 firms, and ranked #2 in Minority Law Journal’s “Top 100 Law Firms for Women.”
