Cleary Gottlieb Partner Alexis Collins Interviewed on MSNBC’s Live With Ali Velshi

Cleary Gottlieb partner Alexis Collins appeared on MSNBC’s Live With Ali Velshi for a discussion on domestic terrorism in the United States.

Alexis discussed the significance of Canada’s identification of the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity and the debate on whether the U.S. should enact a law prohibiting domestic terrorism as a standalone crime.

After joining Cleary in 2001, Alexis joined the U.S. Department of Justice in 2003, where she served in numerous positions, including most recently as counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for National Security and Deputy Chief in the Counterterrorism Section. She returned to Cleary in 2015 and became partner in 2019.
