Cleary Gottlieb partner Joon Kim has been named to the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Task Force on Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crimes.
The task force was assembled to combat the recent surge in hate crimes within New York and across the United States. The group will examine the factors that have led to the increase in hate crimes, make legislative and policy recommendations, suggest improvements to the federal and state legal systems’ responses to hate crimes, and help to better educate the public on the value of diversity and inclusion.
