Cleary Gottlieb Partner Megan Tang to Join the Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong as Director

Cleary Gottlieb partner Megan Tang will join the Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong as Director, Corporate Finance Division.

Megan joined Cleary Gottlieb’s Hong Kong office as a partner in 2008. During her time at the firm, Megan made a significant contribution to the firm’s capital markets, M&A, and private equity practices. She has advised numerous high-profile public companies and their major shareholders and management on corporate governance and compliance matters, including general disclosure obligations, insider trading, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and anti-corruption regulations.

“Megan is a very talented lawyer and she will be a fantastic resource to the Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong.
