For the second year in a row, Cleary Gottlieb topped the list of law firms most frequently used as outside counsel by U.S. Fortune 100 companies on corporate transactions in Corporate Counsel’s annual “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies” survey.
The 2010 corporate transactions survey, based on company and law firm press releases collected by ALM Legal Intelligence as well as Thomson Reuters M&A data from January 1 to December 31, 2009, cites Cleary Gottlieb as outside counsel to 12 Fortune 100 companies on corporate transactions, up from 11 mentions in 2009.
