Cleary Gottlieb’s antitrust practice was ranked No. 1 among the “Global Elite” by Global Competition Review in the 20th edition of the GCR 100.
In its editorial, GCR said, “Cleary’s competition practice perennially ranks high in the Global Elite – and this year it is tied for the top spot.” Specifically, Cleary “does well in cartel defense and even better in merger control, but non-cartel conduct and litigation are where it comes first in GCR’s metrics.” In addition to the overall top ranking, Cleary was ranked No. 1 for litigation, No. 2 for mergers, and No. 8 for cartels.
Cleary also remains the only firm to be ranked in the Elite in GCR’s country rankings for both Brussels and Washington, D.C. The firm’s other country rankings include: Elite in Germany and Italy; and Highly Recommended in Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom.
