The Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) recognized Cleary Gottlieb with its 2016 Law Firm Diversity Award, presented to the firm on February 24, 2016.
“This award recognizes Cleary Gottlieb’s outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said AABANY, “including the recruitment, retention, and advancement of women, minorities, and LGBT attorneys, and its active partnerships with minority bar associations like AABANY.”
Cleary partner Sean O’Neal, who also chairs the firm’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, said about receiving this recognition, “Cleary prides itself on its efforts to promote greater diversity and inclusion in our profession. We will continue pushing ourselves and others in the profession to become more diverse and inclusive.”
