Cleary Gottlieb Recognized Among Law360’s Pro Bono Firms of 2013

Cleary Gottlieb was named a Pro Bono Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year by Law360. In a related article on the firm’s dedication to pro bono work and advocacy on issues at the forefront of national consciousness, Law360 highlighted Cleary Gottlieb’s:

  • partnership with The Bronx Defenders in trying to bring to trial 54 misdemeanor marijuana possession cases stemming from New York City’s stop-and-frisk program and

  • work with The Southern Poverty Law Center and Lite DePalma Greenberg LLC on the first-ever lawsuit against providers of gay “conversion” therapy.
