Cleary Gottlieb Scores Three Asian-mena Counsel Deal of the Year Awards

Cleary Gottlieb has advised on three deals which have received Asian-mena Counsel  magazine “Deal of the Year” awards.

The firm has served as counsel to McDonalds in the CITIC/Carlyle acquisition of McDonald’s in China and Hong Kong, represented PAG in its takeover of Yingde Gases, and advised the issuer and guarantor in Azure Power’s issuance of high-yield green bonds.

Cleary also advised Samsung in HP’s acquisition of Samsung Electronics’ printer business; the underwriters in the ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance IPO; and were counsel to the issuer and selling shareholder in ING Life Korea’s IPO, which have all received honorable mentions in this year’s awards.

The Asian-mena Counsel Deal of the Year awards honor the top Asian transactions and advisers of 2017.
